Indian Idol...Just there!

I wasnt missing...i was very much live and kicking..but simply nothing around me was exciting enough to get back to writing..all the hoopla of Indian cricket..was sounding like a stale piece of bread which even stray dog wont touch...Presidential elections have already lost its grace...all thoes so called...talent hunt shows on TV..all appear very concieved and what do i say about the rest...its full of unrest...boredom..and generally very dry spell all around....

All this changed tonight..while I was watching episode of Indian Idol and watched and heard this young man from shillon humming ...Nasha ye Pyar ka Nasha ....and belive me he made me sing...dance..and rock along with him...vowie..what a superlative performamace...full of joy..romance..and still at ease not missing even a smallest of note..rytham..and the feel...among the chants of once more..the show touched its high when Aalisha made this youngster sing ..Nasha..again...and even the tough nut like Anu malik couldnt resist from singing and swinging along with Amit...all this right in front of original singer..Udit...to me..really a star is born.....

I have been a keen follower of Indian Idol...amongst its highs and lows i felt that the show was loosing its character after its first round...when abhijit sawant ruled the roost..it was all melody and sweetness around..which seem to have lost enroute to popularity...so much so that second time round not many would remember sandeep acharya (who he?) who carried crown with him..no one knows where he is...and after that so far its been a drab singing...Amits performance has changed it all..i have enjoyed Abhijit singing...Chennave Ghar Aajave...and Tadaptadapke is dil se ye...and dil kya kare...and so many of thoes soulful numbers...indian idol touched me first time since then...great show Amit..keep that going. U survive in this competition or not...for me i am sold for your voice and style of singing for life...great stuff!
